Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

November 7–13, 2021

Home Office Relocation

The TDB reports that Freedom Bank has applied to relocate its home office from 902 E. Riley St. in Freer to an existing branch at 533 N. Alamo Rd. in Alamo and maintain the branch at 902 E. Riley St. in Freer.

Branches

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Security State Bank & Trust, based in Fredericksburg, to establish a branch at 3973 W. Vickery Blvd., Ste. 102 and 103, in Fort Worth.

The TDB reports that Sage Capital Bank, based in Gonzales, has applied to establish a branch at 12223 RR 620 N in Austin.

The TDB reports that Southwest Bank, based in Odessa, has established a branch at 4715 N. Midland Dr. in Midland.

The TDB reports that Alliance Bank, based in Sulphur Springs, has established a branch at 3620 SH 121, Ste. 100, in Plano.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Texas Bank, based in Brownwood, to establish a branch at 7400 Viscount Blvd. in El Paso.

The OCC reports that JPMorgan Chase Bank National Association, based in Columbus, Ohio, has established a branch at 7196 Skillman St. in Dallas. The agency also reports that the bank has applied to establish a branch at the southwest corner of Westheimer Rd./FM 1093 and Dunvale Rd. in Houston.

The OCC reports that VeraBank National Association, based in Henderson, has established a branch at 1601 W. 6th St. in Austin.
