Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

February 21–27, 2021

Mergers and Acquisitions

The OCC reports that Lone Star Capital Bank National Association, based in San Antonio, has applied to acquire Business Bank of Texas National Association, based in Austin.

The TDB and the FRBD report that Peoples Bank, based in Lubbock, has applied to acquire First Bank & Trust, based in Seymour.

Branches

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Bank of Brenham National Association, based in Brenham, to establish a. branch at 9000 Hwy. 290 E in Chappell Hill.

The OCC reports that Cadence Bank National Association, based in Atlanta, Georgia, has applied to establish a branch at 901 S. MoPac Exwy., Bldg. V, Ste. 250 and 260, in Austin.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Zions Bancorporation National Association, based in Salt Lake City, Utah, to relocate a branch from 10701 W. Bellfort in Houston to 11213 West Airport Blvd. in Stafford.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by State Bank of DeKalb, based in De Kalb, to establish a branch at 319 Hoskins Blvd. in New Boston.

The TDB reports that Ennis State Bank, based in Ennis, has applied to establish a branch at 6970 FM 741 in Forney.

The TDB reports that Oakwood Bank, based in Dallas, has applied to establish a branch at 6900 Snider Plaza in Dallas.

The TDB reports that Frontier Bank of Texas, based in Elgin, has applied to establish a branch at 7509 O’Connor Dr. in Round Rock.

The TDB reports that Southside Bank, based in Tyler, has applied to establish a branch at 5665 Dallas Pkwy., Ste. 100, in Frisco.

The FRBD reports that Comerica Bank, based in Dallas, has applied to establish the following branches: 5647 W. Lovers Lane in Dallas; and at the corner of Preston and John Hickman in Frisco.
