Texas Bank and Trust Promotes Freeman to Assistant Vice President at Overton Branch

January 15, 2021

Casey FreemanCascey Freeman has been promoted to assistant vice president and consumer lender at the Overton branch of Longview-based Texas Bank and Trust. She began her banking career as a bookkeeper with First State Bank of Overton prior to its merger into Texas Bank and Trust in 2013. She quickly transitioned to the role of administrative assistant to the president, assisting with consumer loan meeting preparations and online loan applications, and aiding other bank locations with loan processing input.

Freeman holds a BS degree in criminal justice from Sam Houston State University and serves as a trustee for the Overton Independent School District. She is a member of the Overton Buyer’s Group for the Rusk County Youth Project Show.

Established in 1958, Texas Bank and Trust operates 21 branches across North and East Texas.
