FirstBank Southwest CEO Marshal Appointed to Texas Bankers Association Board

Andy MarshallAmarillo-based FirstBank Southwest CEO Andy Marshall has joined the Texas Bankers Association (TBA) board as the chairman’s discretionary selection. This direct appointment was made by TBAs CEO Chris Furlow and chairman-elect Chip Jenkins.

Marshall serves as CEO, president and director of FirstBank Southwest. He earned a BS degree from the University of Maryland and his MBA degree from the University of Mississippi. Active in both community and industry groups, Marshall serves on the board of United Way of Amarillo and Canyon, as chair of the Golden Spread Council’s Good Scout Luncheon and the American Heart Association’s Heart Ball, and sits on the banking advisory council of the Rawls Excellence in Banking Program at Texas Tech University. He is an active-duty veteran of both the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force.

Established in 1907, FirstBank Southwest operates nine branches in the Texas Panhandle.
