Texas Regional Bank Open Eighth North Texas Branch in Frisco

On September 22, Harlingen-based Texas Regional Bank opened its new Frisco banking center. The location at 15147 Preston Rd. is the bank’s eighth branch in North Texas. Frisco continues to draw significant business investment alongside sustained population growth. Corporate relocations, business expansion and residential development have strengthened the city’s position. The new location establishes a permanent Texas Regional Bank presence in a growing market of businesses, professionals and families.

Alicia Baum will serve as Frisco market president and lead the local team. She joined Texas Regional Bank in 2025 to develop the Frisco market and brings more than 18 years of commercial and private banking experience in North Texas, including commercial lending, credit structuring, relationship management and portfolio oversight.

“Alicia has already done considerable work developing relationships and establishing TRB in this market, and we’re excited her team now has a permanent presence to build on that foundation,” says Dennis Wright, Dallas/Fort Worth central region president.

To commemorate the opening, Texas Regional Bank will host a ribbon-cutting and grand opening ceremony at the new location on October 21. Community members, business leaders and local officials are invited to meet the Frisco team and mark the opening of the bank’s newest banking center.

Established in 2010, Texas Regional Bank has nearly 40 locations across the Rio Grande Valley, Texas Hill Country, Houston and the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.
