Amegy Bank Names Rasmussen Executive Vice President, Private Banking For Central Texas

Alex RasmussenHouston-based Amegy Bank has appointed Alex Rasmussen as executive vice president and private banking manager for Central Texas. In this role, he will lead a team of private bankers and relationship managers serving clients across the Austin/San Antonio corridor. Based in San Antonio, Rasmussen will oversee growth initiatives across the region while delivering customized private banking, lending, deposit, trust and wealth management solutions to high-net-worth individuals, families and business owners.

Rasmussen joins Amegy Bank with more than 20 years of leadership experience spanning private banking, wealth management and commercial banking, with specialization in the health care industry. Throughout his career, he has led teams focused on relationship management, strategic growth and customized financial solutions for affluent clients and closely held businesses.

“Alex brings an exceptional combination of private banking and wealth expertise, strategic leadership and operational experience,” says April Bailey, Central Texas market president. “His ability to understand the nuanced financial needs of individuals and families, coupled with firsthand experience helping organizations scale and grow, makes him uniquely positioned to serve our clients and grow our Central Texas private banking team.”
