Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

April 27–May 3, 2025

Branches

The OCC reports that First National Bank Texas, based in Killeen, has established a branch at 7700 Samuell Blvd. in Dallas. The agency also reports that First National Bank Texas has applied to establish a branch at 6100 W. Fuqua St. in Houston.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Lone Star Capital Bank NA, based in San Antonio, to establish a branch at 610 W. Main St. in Fredericksburg.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by JPMorgan Chase Bank NA, based in Columbus, Ohio, to establish a branch a the northwest corner of 114th St. (FM 7300) and Quaker Ave. (FM 2330) in Lubbock.

The OCC reports that Commercial Bank of Texas NA, based in Nacogdoches, has relocated a branch from 410 E. Lacy St. in Palestine to 2121 S. Loop 256 in Palestine.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Cendera Bank NA, based in Bells, to relocate a branch from 110 N. College Ave., Ste. 402, in Tyler to 4100 S. Broadway Ave. in Tyler.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Texas Regional Bank, based in Harlingen, to establish a branch at 13300 FM 1488 in Magnolia.

The TDB reports that Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, has applied to relocate a branch from 3801 S. Alameda St. in Corpus Christi to 3835 S. Alameda St. in Corpus Christi.
