Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

December 4–10, 2022

Branches

The OCC reports that PNC Bank NA, based in Wilmington, Delaware, has applied to establish a branch at 5220 Ave. J in Houston.

The OCC reports that JPMorgan Chase Bank NA, based in Columbus, Ohio, has applied to establish a branch at the northeast corner of Ronald Reagan Blvd. and Kauffman Loop in Leander.

The OCC reports that MidFirst Bank, based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, has established a branch at 11750 Katy Fwy., Ste. 800, in Houston.

The OCC reports that The City National Bank of Colorado City, based in Colorado City, has applied to establish a branch at 2909 Sherwood Way in San Angelo.

The TDB reports that Texas Regional Bank, based in Harlingen, has applied to establish a branch at 10635 Louetta Rd. in Houston.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, to establish a branch at 1506 S. Friendswood Dr. in Friendswood. The agency also reports that Frost Bank has applied to establish a branch at 5510 S. Interstate Hwy. 35 in Austin.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Wallis Bank, based in Wallis, to establish a branch at the intersection of University Blvd. and U.S. 59 Frontage Rd. in Sugar Land.

The TDB reports that Alliance Bank Central Texas, based in Woodway, has applied to establish a branch at 3911 Williams Dr. in Georgetown.

The TDB reports that Greater State Bank, based in McAllen, has applied to establish a branch at 118 North D. Salinas Blvd. in Donna.
