Paris-based Lamar National Bank has hired Brian Blair to serve as regional market president over the bank’s Celina and Anna markets. A graduate of Sam Houston State University, Blair began his banking career in 2007, advancing as regional president for Prosperity Bank for the Houston market and later the Plano market.
“We are pleased to have someone with Brian’s leadership and commercial lending experience heading up these very dynamic markets for us,” says Greg Wilson, CEO. “As we focus on strengthening relationships in this area, we continue to attract top-tier talent. Brian is a perfect fit to lead this team.”
Established in 1981, Lamar National Bank is a $375 million community bank with five banking offices. It recently expanded into the rapidly growing Celina, Frisco, Northlake and Anna markets. Lamar National Bank also has a loan production office in Bryan/College Station.
