Members of the Texas Bankers Association (TBA) are gathering in San Antonio this week, April 23–25, for the organization’s 140th Annual Convention. With the theme of “¡Viva! Los Banqueros,” the group has a full slate of education sessions, featured speakers, exhibits and networking opportunities to make the event enlightening, entertaining and fruitful.
Special events at the TBA Convention will include a golf tournament at The Quarry, an awards luncheon to honor TBA’s 2025 Cornerstone and LiFE Award recipients, a luncheon the following day to celebrate 50-year Bankers and TBA Emerging Leaders, regulatory roundtables, an auction and the TBA Chairman’s Dinner & Bankers Bash, featuring the Josh Abbott Band.
Featured speakers at the event will include:
- Kevin McCarthy, former speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives;
- Senator Tim Scott (R–South Carolina), chairman of the U.S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs;
- Michelle W. Bowman, member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System;
- Lynn Martin, president of NYSE Group; and
- Dr. William T. Chittenden, president and CEO of the SW Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business.
