The First National Bank of Central Texas Hires Patterson for Lending in Gatesville

August 15, 2024

Joe PattersonJoe Patterson has joined Waco-based The First National Bank of Central Texas as vice president/lender. He will work out of the bank’s new Gatesville office, which opened in May. CEO Joe Barrow made the announcement.

Patterson previously served as a lender at Extraco Banks. He is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and currently serves as a member of the Gatesville City Council.

The Gatesville banking center has seen substantial growth since the 4,600-square-foot facility, located at 2908 E. Main St., opened earlier this year. “Joe knows the community and its people and is committed to helping the community grow and thrive,” Barrow says. “We value local knowledge and relationships and hit a home run with Joe.”

Established in 1901, The First National Bank of Central Texas has locations in Waco, Woodway-Hewitt, College Station, China Spring, Mart, Gatesville and Hillsboro.
