Kilgore-based Citizens Bank recently announced that Greg Gani has joined as chief executive officer of the bank’s Carthage and Center locations. He comes to Citizens Bank with more than 33 years of banking and lending experience.
“Not only does Greg bring a strong foundation of banking experience and building customer relationships, but he shares our core values and our commitment to excellence for the benefit of our community and our customers,” says Sammy York, president and CEO.
Gani received both his undergraduate degree and graduate degree from East Texas Baptist University. He is also a graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University.
In addition to his banking career, Gani also has work experience in law enforcement, including the Marshall Police Department, Harrison County Sheriff’s Office and, most recently, the Panola County District Attorney’s Office.
Established in 1949, Citizens Bank operates 11 Texas banking centers: Bryan/College Station, Carthage, Center, Gladewater, Humble, Kilgore, Kountze, Sour Lake, The Woodlands and Yorktown, and a loan production office/ deposit production office in Plano.
