Henderson-based VeraBank recently announced that Todd Engemoen has been elected to the board of directors. He has been with VeraBank since 2014 and currently serves as chief financial officer, overseeing the bank’s finance department, demonstrating innovative leadership and providing input bankwide. Engemoen is directly responsible for balance-sheet management, investment-portfolio management, product pricing and overall financial strategies.
Engemoen graduated with a BA degree in economics with highest honors and an MBA degree in finance from the University of Texas–Austin. He also holds the chartered financial analyst accreditation.
“Todd’s extensive knowledge in finance and impressive display of leadership over the years has earned him this position,” says Brad Tidwell, president and CEO of VeraBank.
“The board has provided stability and guidance to VeraBank for the past 90 years, [serving] as the backbone of our company,” says Engemoen.
Established in 1930, VeraBank, formerly Citizens National Bank, is a privately owned community bank that operates 37 branches in East and Central Texas and reports $2.3 billion in assets, with trust assets under management in excess of $600 million.
