New Mexico: Independent Community Bankers Association of New Mexico Names Hadley Ag Lender of the Year

Richard D. Hadley, vice president of The Citizens Bank of Clovis, has been named “Ag Lender of the Year” by the Independent Community Bankers Association of New Mexico. The award was presented during the group’s 2019 Ag Lenders Conference held March 28 and 29 in Deming. Hadley has been with The Citizens Bank of Clovis since 1981. In addition to being a commercial loan officer specializing in ag-related loans at the main branch of the bank, he also serves as manager of the bank’s Texico branch.

Hadly earned an associates of applied science degree in ranch and feedlot business management from Clarendon College. He is actively involved in the Clovis community, working with the 4-H organization, serving on the Curry County Fair board and as president of the Curry County Mounted Patrol. Hadley has been involved in both the rodeo and Texico Buyers Club for more than 30 years. He served on the Texico school board for approximately 15 years and is a member of the Texico-Farwell Rotary Club.

Founded in 1916, The Citizens Bank of Clovis operates two locations in Clovis, as well as branches in Texico and Fort Sumner.
