On May 16, Fayetteville-based White River Bancshares Co., the holding company for Signature Bank of Arkansas, announced the promotion of a number of senior leaders as part of its growing franchise. Several of the promotions, along with new hires, are a result of the company’s expansion into the Rogers market in April.
Leading the expansion is Knight Weis, president of the new Rogers location. He has been a part of the Signature Bank team since its establishment in 2005, and has been in the banking business for more than 30 years. Weis served as the bank’s Springdale market president until being promoted to Northwest Arkansas president in 2013. He also served as Fayetteville market president from 2014 to 2016.
The Rogers team also includes Kurt Brungardt, vice president of mortgage lending. He brings more than 23 years of experience in the secondary market mortgage business and joined the Signature Bank team in 2016. Kent Arnold will manage business development initiatives. He has more than 15 years of experience working as an executive broker in Dallas and Jonesboro. Clinton Ryan, Lance Clark and John Spencer will be acting as vice presidents of commercial lending in Rogers. Ryan graduated from the University of Arkansas with a business degree emphasizing investments. He also attended the ABA Commercial Lending School at Southern Methodist University (SMU). Clark has 27 years of banking experience and graduated from Missouri State University with a business administration/marketing degree. Spencer has been with Signature Bank since 2004. He attended the University of Arkansas where he received a BS degree in business administration. He also is a graduate of the ABA Graduate School of Lending at SMU.
Amy Rachel is serving as both Rogers’ and Bentonville’s bank manager. She has been in retail banking for 19 years and attended Northwest Arkansas Community College. Jake Sullins was recently promoted to assistant bank manager at the bank’s Rogers location. He has more than six years of banking experience in Northwest Arkansas. Jean Zieber has joined the Rogers team as a consumer commercial loan coordinator. Ashley Lindy is the senior loan coordinator in Rogers. She holds a BSBA degree in financial management and investments from the University of Arkansas. She is a graduate of the ABA National Compliance School and holds a certificate in compliance lending.
At the executive level, Scott Sand-lin was promoted to chief strategy officer. He joined the executive team in 2016. Sandlin is a retired Walmart executive with more than 25 years of experience in operations, merchandising, e-commerce and financial services, as well as developing growth strategies and business plans. Sandlin graduated from the University of Arkansas with a BBA degree and also completed Harvard Business School’s financial services executive education program.
Alexandria J. Gladden has been promoted to market president in Springdale. She has been with Signature Bank for the past 14 years, seven of which she has served as the senior vice president/loan manager. She also serves as a committee member for the Arkansas Children’s Hospital Event Gala and has recently joined the Fayetteville Junior Civic League.
Jason Orlicek was promoted to senior vice president/loan manager in Springdale. He joined the Signature Bank team in 2013 and has more than 19 years of banking experience. Orlicek is a graduate of Arkansas Tech University, the ABA Commercial School of Lending and the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at SMU.
