Jay Meador has been appointed executive vice president and Central Arkansas market president of Lafayette, Louisiana-based IberiaBank. He has served as senior vice president and commercial relationship manager at IberiaBank for eight years. Prior to that, Meador served as Pine Bluff-based Simmons Bank’s commercial lending manager, responsible for the bank’s Central Arkansas commercial banking division. He also served as the Arkansas private banking president at Simmons Bank.

Meador earned an undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University and an MBA degree from Vanderbilt University.
