Texas: Price Joins American Bank as Victoria Market President

On December 27, Corpus Christi-based American Bank announced that Randy Price has been hired as Victoria market president. He joins the bank with more than 27 years of financial institution experience in and around the Victoria area, most recently serving as senior vice president at Prosperity Bank. In his new role at American Bank, Price will be responsible for all commercial banking activities in Victoria and the surrounding areas.

Price holds a BS degree in business administration/accounting from the University of Houston–Victoria. Active in the community, he has worked with many organizations in both leadership and volunteer capacities, including the Victoria ISD Education Foundation, Community Food Bank of Victoria and Victoria Northwest Little League.

“Randy’s deep ties to the Victoria area are an invaluable asset and his personal philosophy around serving clients is very much in tune with the relationship-based and solutions-oriented approach for which American Bank has been known since its founding almost half a century ago,” says Mark Meyer, president of the South Texas region for American Bank.

Founded in 1970, American Bank has assets totaling nearly $1.4 billion as of September 30, 2018. It operates 15 locations in Austin, Corpus Christi, Goliad, Houston, Port Aransas, Rockport, San Antonio and Victoria.
