Mississippi: Trustmark National Bank Names Kennedy Chief Information Officer

On January 8, Jackson-based Trustmark Corp. announced that David C. Kennedy has been named executive vice president and chief information officer of the company’s subsidiary, Trustmark National Bank. He has more than 20 years of experience, with his most recent leadership role as chief technology officer of Stone Energy Corp. in Lafayette, Louisiana. In that position, Kennedy was responsible for corporate technology and innovation initiatives and directed the management and operations of information systems across more than 100 locations worldwide. He also has served as cybersecurity advisor to regional financial institutions.

Kennedy received a BS degree in computer science from Mississippi State University and completed post-graduate studies at Harvard Business School.
