Matt Hicks has joined Danville-based Chambers Bank as chief credit officer. He has more than 14 years of experience in the financial services industry, most recently serving as commercial lender and Fayetteville market leader for First National Bank NWA.
Hicks began his banking career in 2004 in retail operations at Liberty Bank, eventually leading the loan administration department there. He also served as Benton County market president for Centennial Bank and as the Northwest Arkansas commercial loan market manager for Great Southern Bank.
Active in his community, Hicks currently serves on the board for the Single Parent Scholarship Fund of Northwest Arkansas and was recognized as the Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund Volunteer of the Month in March 2018. He is a former board member of the Children’s Safety Center and Students in Free Enterprise (now Enactus) at Northwest Arkansas Community College, as well as Northwest Arkansas Emerging Leaders.

Hicks is a graduate of Arkansas State University and also holds an MBA degree from Harding University. In addition, he is a graduate of Leadership Fayetteville.
Founded in 1930, Chambers Bank currently operates 18 branches throughout Arkansas.
