Tupelo-based BancorpSouth Bank has named Adam Seymour community bank president of its Copperas Cove market. He will be responsible for overseeing the banking operations in the area and helping customers with their commercial, agricultural, residential and consumer banking needs.
Seymour, who has 12 years of banking experience, most recently oversaw the seven-branch network of an Austin-based credit union. He has also served as a branch manager and small-business banker at one of the largest banking institutions in the U.S.
Seymour earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Texas A&M University–College Station. He is a member of the Copperas Cove Chamber of Commerce.
With approximately $18 billion in assets, BancorpSouth Bank operates 285 locations as well as additional mortgage, insurance and loan production offices in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee and Texas.
