Mississippi: Community Bank Names Huff Regional Executive for Business Development, Covington Named President

Bob Huff has been named regional executive officer of business development for Forest-based Community Bank. He recently served as president of Community Bank in Meridian and has been in banking for 38 years, 20 of those with Community Bank. In his new role, he will focus on business development and loan growth for the Meridian division. He will lead and coordinate all business development activities in the Meridian region and focus on expanding existing customer relationships.

Huff is a graduate of the University of Memphis with a BBA degree in finance. He is also a graduate of the Louisiana State University School of Banking.

Kyle Covington has been named president of the Meridian division of Community Bank. He recently served as senior vice president and has been in banking for 36 years. In his new role, Covington will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the bank’s multiple offices in Meridian.

Community Bank operates 47 offices and has more than 785 employees in four states. It has been included in the “Best Banks to Work For” by American Banker magazine.
