Louisiana: Origin Bank Promotes Parker to Lincoln Parish Market Leader

Ruston-based Origin Bank has announced the promotion of Jeff Parker to Lincoln Parish market leader. He will be responsible for the bank’s lending and deposit activities and provide direct leadership of the lending team. He will also represent the bank in the community, coordinate new business development and cultivate business relationships.

Parker has worked at Origin Bank since 2007 as senior vice president/commercial banking. He has 18 years of banking experience, specifically in commercial banking with a specialization in lending to middle-market companies. He also brings expertise in private banking, real estate lending, small-business lending and business development.

Parker has a BS degree in finance and an MBA degree from Louisiana Tech University. He is also a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University. He serves on the boards for the North Louisiana Economic Partnership and the Ruston-Lincoln Convention and Visitors Bureau, for which he is also the treasurer. He is on the finance committee and is the capital campaign co-chair for Trinity United Methodist Church, serves as a United Way community investment volunteer and is a past president for the Louisiana Tech Alumni Association.
