Little Rock-based Simmons Bank announced recently that it has named David Stogsdill senior vice president of commercial banking. He will lead customer acquisition and oversee growth for commercial clients in Central Arkansas.
Stogsdill joins Simmons Bank with more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. He began at Nuvell Financial Services, where he was selected for the Nuvell Financial Fundamental Leadership Development and Management Program. In 2013, Stogsdill was recognized as the William H. Bowen Commercial Sales Person of the Year by his former employer, Regions Bank.
A graduate of Ouachita Baptist University and Leadership Greater Little Rock, Stogsdill serves as a board member for Heart of Arkansas United Way. He is a past board member for the Central Arkansas RMA and Centers for Youth and Families Young Professionals.
Chartered in 1903, Simmons Bank has locations in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Texas and Tennessee.
