Birmingham, Alabama-based Regions Bank recently announced that Robert Leard, commercial banking leader, has been appointed to serve as market executive for the bank in Jackson and surrounding communities. He is part of a leadership team focused on expanding the bank’s client base throughout Mississippi. Leard succeeds Arthur DuCote, who was recently appointed to serve as market executive and commercial banking leader for Regions Bank in Montgomery, Alabama.
Leard joined Regions Bank, formerly AmSouth, in 1995 as a consumer credit policy officer and has held several leadership roles, including as a business banking executive and regional credit executive. His banking career began with Trustmark Bank in Jackson in 1990.
Regions Bank’s leadership team in Jackson also includes Barbara Bowman and Andy Miller, consumer banking managers; and Richard Crowder and Bubba Holloway, serving in Regions’ private wealth management division. Additionally, LoRose Hunter was recently appointed to serve as community development manager, overseeing the bank’s work throughout Mississippi.
Regions Bank serves customers across the South, Midwest and Texas. It has 34 branches in the Jackson area (Hinds, Rankin, Madison, Copiah and Yazoo counties) and 126 statewide.
