In May, McAllen-based Inter National Bank appointed Jeff Sinnott senior executive vice president, chief operations, technology and ERM officer. Prior to joining Inter National Bank, he was executive vice president and COO for Southwest Bank. He has been an active leader in banking operations and technology for the past 25 years.
Sinnott earned his BA degree in business analysis/management information systems from Texas A&M University. In addition, he graduated with honors from the Graduate School of Banking in Colorado.
Robert A. McGurk has been named senior vice president, commercial lender. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the banking industry, having served BBVA Compass Bank for 10 years before working with Elsa State Bank & Trust Co. There he served as an advisory director to the bank’s board, as well as directing and overseeing the IT steering committee as a part of the senior management team.
McGurk is a graduate of the University of Texas–San Antonio. He was awarded the SBA Financial Services Advocate of the Year Award in 2001.
