Durant-based First United Bank has announced that Greg Farrow is the new community bank president and senior vice president for Sanger. He has 29 years of banking experience serving in executive positions at Millennium Bank, Regions Bank and Wells Fargo. Farrow is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration in 1990. He attended the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University and graduated in 2009.
Farrow and his wife, Kelley, moved to Denton from Chattanooga, Tennessee. “First United empowers the community bank president to make local decisions,” Farrow says. “I am excited about the opportunities in the Sanger market and delighted to work with the awesome team already in place.”
Founded in 1900 as Durant National Bank, First United Bank has more than 85 locations in Oklahoma and Texas.
